The Quick's took their first Family vacation together and enjoyed several days of sand and sun in Destin, FL. We left around 2:30am on the 10th which was perfect for Mr. Bodie. This allowed the majority of the 5 hour trip to be during his nightly sleep time anyway. By the time that we arrived around 7:30, he was rested and r
eady to hit the sand. As you can see, Bodie immediately became a little beach baby. He loved the water, the sand and the sun... We took a little baby pool with a shade to the beach and filled it with about an inch of water to keep him cool and it allowed him to splash and play for hours. This gave mommy more relaxing time which was a relief. This is definitely recommended when taking little ones to the beach
. Bodie also enjoyed crawling in the sand and would take off going after everyone's stuff that he could get his hands on. He would then get sand ALL over him including his face which drove his daddy crazy. He had a really great time though and it was very special for us to be able to take him and see his excitement.
