For Father's Day weekend, Christopher wanted to take Bodie for his first swim... We are planning a beach vacation soon and we wanted to test the waters (pun intended-ha).
So on Saturday, we sat him in the pool for the first time. We immediately felt his little hesitation, but it didn't last long. Soon he realized that it was like a big bath-tub that he could splash in... He then figured out that if he kicked his legs, he could move the float around. He also liked to be held and kick the side of the pool and feel the jets on his feet. Hopefully, this is a sign of a good vacation to come... 
We also visited with Bodie's Great-Grandmother, "Nanny" which was wonderful. She had a great time holding him and even called him Mini-Chris... You could see that it took her back in time, remembering when Christopher was a little guy... It was a very special visit.
